このリリカルな雰囲気のジャジーなインストゥルメンタル・ヒップホップは、ヌジャベスを想起せずにはいられないでしょう。作者はフランス・マルセイユのYuhehtというビートメイカー。これが初めてリリースする作品のようです。

1曲目の冒頭で聴こえてくるピアノのメロディがもうヌジャベス。タイトルもヌジャベスの2作目のアルバム『Modal Soul』に似ているし、「Silent Night for Nujabes」なんていう曲もある。

そんなふうにヌジャベスっぽいところはありありと出ています。……と言って終わらせるのは、これまたもったいない。どの曲にもシンプルなリズムの上に、きれいなピアノのメロディが乗っていて心地よく、気持ちよく聴けます。
